When it was re-released in 2019, the Ford Ranger was a big hit with drivers. Now, for the 2023 model year, this mid-size pickup truck will be redesigned with a bolder front-end styling and a new turbodiesel V-6, making the Ford Ranger an even bigger hit with Ludowici and Lyons drivers. Performance
While information is scarce about many aspects of the new Ranger, we can make some safe assumptions about what's coming down the pike. For instance, we suspect that the Ranger model will continue to the same turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder its been using as it still performs quite well.
And while a new turbodiesel V-6 is making its way to other markets, there is no indication that it will be available in North America.
Interior/Tech
Inside, the Ranger's cabin looks more modern. There's a digital gauge display, textured dashboard trim, and honeycomb-patterned air vents. Most controls have been digitized and made available in the vehicle's now standard 10.1-inch infotainment display. This display also uses Ford's latest Sync 4 interface and allows Blackshear and Hazlehurst residents access to controls like a new zone-lighting feature that turns on lights on the outside of the truck.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will likely be standard, and we expect there to be other new additions like an in-dash navigation and an upgraded stereo.
